Dana Taylor's Highlights

- Currently (10 years) Men’s Head Soccer Coach at Oregon State University, Dana Taylor has elevated the program to elite status.

- Has brought his team to 2 NCAA Men’s College Cups, hosting an opening-round game for the first time in program history after claiming a school-record 13 wins for the second year in a row.

- Taylor’s squads, which have resided in the top-20 polls over the last two years.

- Taylor's squads have become known for offensive firepower, consistently ranking among the nation’s scoring leaders.

- Taylor was named Pac 10 Coach Of The Year In 2003.

- Taylor's teams have broken school records or made new entries on the program’s all-time lists 87 times.

- Taylor’s teams continue to excel in the classroom, posting grade-point averages of 3.0 or better over the last 2 and a half years..

- Taylor’s players have been recognized as All-Pac-10 athletes 36 times.

- His players have earned all-region honors seven times, as well as four All-Americans and  two Scholar All-Americans. 

- 16 of Taylor’s players have moved on to play professionally in the MLS and abroad.

- Taylor helped Creighton to a 63-17-6 record, two Missouri Valley Conference titles and a Final Four appearance in 1996 as an Assistant Coach.

- At Creighton, Taylor’s primary responsibility was working with the goalkeepers. The Blue Jays had 0.87 goals-against average and 35 shutouts in 86 games with Taylor on the coaching staff.

- During that time, Creighton won three MVC tournament titles to go with its two regular-season conference titles. The Blue Jays reached the NCAA Tournament all four years, advancing to the 1996 Final Four, the 1997 second round, and the 1998 quarterfinals.

- Taylor holds a United States Soccer Federation "A" Coaching License
and a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Advanced National Diploma.

- Taylor has been a National Staff Instructor, coaching USSF National Courses as well as being part of the National Goalkeeping Staff.

- Taylor’s won the U-23 Region II championships and finished second in the 1998 national finals.

- Taylor was the Nebraska State Soccer Association Director of Coaching and Player Development from 1993-95, overseeing all 25,000 players in the state.

- Taylor was the Assistant Coach at Colorado College. In 1992, Taylor helped Colorado College to an 18-2-2 record, a No. 3 final regular-season ranking and a spot in the NCAA Division III Final Four.


Paul Meehan's Highlights

- Currently Paul is the Associate Head Coach at Oregon State University.

- Paul spent three seasons as the Assistant Coach at Marshall University. 

- Paul was an Assistant Coach at Fresno State when the Bulldogs won the Western Athletic Conference and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

- At the club level, Paul spent two years as the Associate Coaching Director for FC Alliance in Bothell, Wash., and was later part of the West Virginia Soccer Club’s coaching staff.

- Meehan’s collegiate coaching career began at Bellevue (Wash.) Community College, where he won three NWAACC titles and was named Coach of the Year twice. From 1987-1996, his record was 82-43-16.

- He has also been the Head Coach of Washington’s U-18 ODP state team and a staff coach for Region IV ODP.

- Paul played for Team USA in 1984 and the Milwaukee Wave reserve team in 1984-85. Both teams were members of the American Indoor Soccer Association.

- Paul holds a USSF National "A" License.


                                                      Gary Hamel's Highlights

- Gary Hamel currently is the Assistant Coach for OSU Men's Soccer.

- Gary is begining his second stint with the Beavers as he assisted the program in 2005-2006.

- Gary spent the last year at Fort Lewis College, located in Durango, Colorado as the Men’s 1st Assistant.

- Fort Lewis advanced to the 2007 NCAA Division II College Cup Regional Semi Finals and was 2005 National Champion.

- Hamel helped produce two NSCAA Regional Players and currently one "Kieran Hall" plays for MLS National Champions Houston Dynamos.

- Gary holds a USSF National "B" License and a NSCAA License.
